Oh my geeze!

Or in other words, damn it's been awhile since I posted! ALOT has happened since I posted last so here will be a short update.

• Jeremy and I tried to work things out and broke back up.
• Come to find out it was my dog tearing the fence to shreds but got that issue fixed.
• School is out for another month and I've been totally slacking on the list of things I wanted to do this summer.
• Went on vacation to Oklahoma and had a blast. I posted the pics on my FB and if I get the chance I will post more details there.
• Lyssa is off her meds and hasn't had any of her major meltdowns.
• Cora's dad and I have been getting along for the most part.
• I've been dating a new guy for about 2 mos and things are going great.

There is the general idea of my current life. Things are going good. I'm a bit stressed about finacial issues but who isn't?! Well I just wanted to post that I was alive and well. I can't post much else right now since I'm at work but I will try and keep up with atleast a weekly post. Oh if your curious about our vacation here's the link to the pics. Pics of Oklahoma Vacation

Poor Lyssa

Friday she went to school just like a normal day but by the time she got out her eyes were red and hurting. Since I work 2nd on Friday and 1st on Saturday I wasn't able to get her to the dr till Saturday evening but got her in and she just has an infection. Thank God it wasn't pink eye! They gave her some eye drops and she's been letting me put them in with little resistance. She's a trooper when it comes to meds and the such.

 

When we got home from Dr's and also went and saw some friends we came home and our dog was barking. So I asked Lyssa to go let her, well there was 2 extra dogs in our yard! The neighbors 2 huge, male, German Shephards had some how manage to knock out 2 boards and get into our backyard! I went over and got the owner and come to find out he's been in the hospital for 11 days! I'm glad he was home because his dogs scare the crap out of me. Got the fence fixed, for now so I don't have to worry about them getting again.

 

Sunday: wasn't able to get Cora because of Lyssa's eye. I didn't want to take the chance of Cora getting it since she seems to get every sick that gets close to her! Spent the day doing nothing. Exciting! Well that's all for now. Later!

Let's try this again, 3nd post!

So it's been ages since I've posted and I know I keep saying I'm going to try and keep up with this but as a working single mom I'm lucky to keep up with dishes and laundry! So life has been life.

 At work we have a desk clerk leaving so were training a new lady and then our 3rd shift is finally coming back after 8 weeks of being gone but she's still not working a whole shift. Honestly I don't get it..On 3rd you really don't do much even on a busy night but what ever. I come in and do my job like I'm supposed to.

The boyfriend and I broke up last month and I think he finally has everything out of the house. It's been a long process but we made it through. The only thing left to do is I need to get a deep freeze so he can have the 1 his dad was letting us use back but that will have to wait a few days. Went and got the washer and dryer yesterday and that was an adventure but at this point I can say that I have my own!

Cora's been sick so I haven't gotten her the last 2 weekends but this weekend is looking good since I'm almost over my crud too. Lyssa is wanting to go to Build-A-Bear so I'm sure that will be on our list of things to cram into the 5 hrs.

And last but not least, Lyssa. She's been getting low scores daily at school so I'm not too happy with her but she's trying. With everything going on it's been rough on her but she still needs to do what needs to be done and paying attention in class and not getting in trouble is just that! She said she's going to get a 5 (highest score) today so I'm really hoping she does!

Well that's the update, were all still alive! And here's some pictures I took the other day when Lyssa and I went on adventure to Island Park in Winfield. It was too nice of a day not to go do something!
